Our Hearts Behind Ivy
Ivy is a unique plant. It grows in harsh conditions, flourishes when near other ivy, is strongly rooted, and is basically what we aspire to be. We believe that when we surround ourselves with passionate and encouraging people, we flourish and grow within ourselves. So, we wanted to offer a space for other like-minded creatives to have a sense of community and creativity. We hope that by coming, you'll discover deeper passions, find a life long community, ask questions, and have a fun couple days eating food and drinking mimosas!
Hey hey! I’m Beth, the brunette that usually has a camera in one hand and a Chick-Fil-A sandwich in the other (I have a problem with eating there too much). I’m a self-taught natural light photographer living life to the fullest in Springfield, MO. Photography has always been a passion of mine but I didn’t take the full-time jump until 2015. I’m married to Miguel and dog mom to Arnold. I’m an extrovert from birth but love a good movie day in bed with no one around. Capturing life and connection is one of the greatest joys I get to experience in this job! I travel a lot with the weddings I book and it’s a wonderful experience getting to see places I normally wouldn’t be able to and meet all my amazing couples. I truly have the best job in the world!
Hi there! I'm Kyndal, the one who’s always holding a bouquet of flowers or obsessing over the dream of living in a van and traveling the country. I have a deep love for capturing moments in time and seeing the value in relationships with my clients. I'm all about the raw emotion and movement in my images! I love dreaming. The kind of dreaming you do at night when there's a world of possibilities and you can do anything. I can remember almost every dream I've had starting when I was a child. Weird? Yeah, I know. But, that's when I come up with a lot of inspiration for pictures! I have a ridiculous obsession with tacos, but I'm not a meat eater so they usually consist of lots of cheese and lettuce. I love plants and have them all over my home, but I almost always kill them within the first couple months of having them. It's a love hate relationship. I had someone ask me a while back what my favorite animal was, and after LOTS of thinking I decided on a long haired yack. They're unique and kind of weird, like me! I love forming relationships with other photographers and soaking up as much knowledge as possible. We all start somewhere, so let's get to know each other!
